Well I don’t often post here but this is indeed a crisis in America – brought on by the election of Donald Trump to the presidency, and the wholesale enactment of Project 2025, the blueprint for a revolution defunding federal lands and government entities and reversing decades of foreign and domestic policy work.
These are useful links to dive deeper into understanding the mindset of those who now control the levers of power in our federal government. I share these to encourage deeper understanding in order to help those who want to be effective in shaping policies that effect all of us – removing public lands from public hands, as well as other key public services such as national defense, healthcare and education.
Reading these informative articles will help you escape echo chamber social media spheres; if you want to stay comfortable in one-sided affirmations, you should skip this. There is information below that is contradictory and complex, like the issues themselves. I’m an environment-first voter, so my views are certainly colored by that emphasis. Still, these are not simple issues to find lasting solutions to.
